  1. Vinegar or activated charcoal

Pour a little tartaric acid into a few bowls or place a few pieces of activated charcoal somewhere in the room you smoke in. Make sure you place the bowls or the charcoal somewhere higher if you have children or pets, so they won’t try to eat them. Vinegar and charcoal have the ability to neutralize unpleasant odors.

  1. Spray perfume

Spray some perfume on a cold light bulb. When you turn the lights on, the light bulb will heat up thus releasing a pleasant scent. The perfume scent will at least partially cover the unpleasant smell of cigarettes.

  1. Fragrant bags

As we mentioned before, the cigarette smell can penetrate into your clothes. Therefore, if your clothes are smelly and you want to wear them but don’t have the time to wash, here’s what to do:  Leave them outdoors for at least an hour, and then put them in a plastic bag along with natural fragrant closet bags. Leave the clothes over the night.

  1. Baking soda

Baking soda is an excellent cleaning supply. This common household item can even eliminate smoke odor in your house by neutralizing smoke molecules.

  1. Vinegar and a towel

If you want to wash the hard surfaces, like floors, kitchen counters, and even walls, make a solution of one-third water and about two-thirds distilled white vinegar. The greasy residue that cigarettes leave will come off easily.

Another way to eliminate the smell is to soak a towel or cloth in vinegar and shake the towel in the room you smoke for 1-2 minutes.

Hopefully, these tricks will help you remove all of the unpleasant odors that cigarettes leave.
